An award-winning journalist who has worked across print and radio, and is currently a senior news anchor at eTV Ms. Imani Rapetti recently conducted an interview with Dr Makhosi Khoza and Mr. Zulumathabo Zulu about their respective works in the excavation, research and advancement of African origin of scientific knowledge.

Among her career highlights, Ms. Rapetti has interviewed numerous other movers and shakers such as former South African President Thabo Mbeki, President Jacob Zuma, and queen of television talk show Oprah Winfrey. This radio interview was conducted at the Power FM 98.7 Houghton studios in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Power FM’s Power Talk is an alternative show with no limits. It is for ordinary South Africans with the aim of creating a platform that allows for emancipation to talk about any issues affecting the nation in one way or the other. It is a learning channel that brings people of different classes together to expand on their experiences and lifestyles in order to form a level of understanding for the betterment of society.

In this particular interview, Imani probes, explores and allows the audience to gain a much broader and holistic appreciation with respect to the logic and sophistication of indigenous African languages of isiZulu with Dr Makhosi Khoza – the Creator of the Language Order Called Uzalo: Ubuntu Zulu Alphabetical Logic Order and Sesotho with Mr. Zulumathabo Zulu – the Author of Sesotho Dictionary of Mathematics.

Dr. Makhosi Khoza is the Member of Parliament of the Republic of South Africa and was recently a Chair of the Parliamentary committee that selected the Advocate Busisiswe Mkhwebane as the new Public Protector of South Africa to succeed the outgoing Public Protector Advocate Thuli Madonsela.

The Basotho refer to the red ocher they wear upon their graduation from the Mophato university college system that pre-existed the advent of Euro-Christian Colonization in South Africa.

It gives one great pleasure to see people working to promote and educate the true history of the South African cultures, It was such great pleasure to hear the Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa paying homage to Mr Zulumathabo on his work. A nation that has no idea of where it comes from and its foundations will adopt anything that comes its way. Before real knowledge of the true history of the South Africans and their cultures it will be impossible for people to understand the concepts of africanism, the ideologies of Biko and others. At times i wish we celebrated real knowledge and not the fluff we are fed each day. #TheChamp
